Nursing a Dead Man

This project is once again accessing the backdrop of beer bottle lids, each with an image imbedded inside. The images are taken from years of collecting. There are photographs of family members; human or otherwise, collected objects, written reflections, drawings, collages and contemplations about the animal as a pet, a companion or an equal. When it is installed, it resembles an explosion of coloured dots and is interesting to be viewed from a distance. This work was possibly the most successful work I have ever made in regards to audience interaction and feedback. Some viewers spent up to an hour looking at this one work. It was culled due to its weakness of message, but I hope to remake it in the future with a stronger voice.
